Preparing your perineal should be as important as packing your hospital bag! Perineal massage may improve skins elasticity and flexibility in preparation of child birth.
Massage oil into your perineum (the area between your vagina and bottom) 2-4 times a week for 5 – 10 minutes from 34 weeks pregnant. Wash your hands well before and after use.
Do not use: if you have a vaginal infection, thrush or herpes
Left over oil can be used as a massage oil for you or baby.
